Aud Steinfeldt grew up in Fort Smith, Montana, and was very fortunate to live amongst ranchers, Indians, fly fishermen, hippies, trailer dwellers, government workers, hunters, boaters, campers, beet farmers, and a lot of people flying by the seat of their pants. She loves observing and analyzing, and hopes that at 44, she is on the cusp of a long and illustrious career writing about all the thoughts and ideas crammed into her brain.
