"Like most people, the only places in Nevada that I was very familiar with were Las Vegas and Reno. What a shame, because there is much more to this state than casinos. A couple of years ago we drove across the middle of Nevada on highway 50 'The Loneliest Road In America.' Boy, they got that right! But it could have as easily been named one of the most beautiful roads in America. It opened our eyes to the great beauty of the Great Basin. This book has many photos that typify the beauty of this state that is full of wide open spaces and solitude."
