Robert McKendrick is a dedicated nightscape photographer who reveals the tranquil beauty of the natural world after sunset. His work, featured in Milky Way NightScapes by Royce Bair, showcases a unique sensitivity to light, uncovering hidden landscapes beneath the night sky. For Robert, photography is more than an art form—it's a way to slow down, embrace stillness, and forge a deeper connection with the land.

A proud member of Gallery Moab since 2017, Robert shares his passion with a wider audience in one of the most breathtaking desert regions. His images capture nature's silence, untouched beauty, and timeless presence, inviting viewers to step into peaceful moments that often go unseen. In addition to his artistic pursuits, he has learned from and taught workshops with Royce Bair, helping others experience the wonder of night photography.

Carol Polich has traveled throughout Utah National Parks carrying Film, DSLR, and now, Mirrorless cameras for the past thirty-five years. As a photographer and author, with two previous books to her credit, her many featured nature and travel articles have appeared in a variety of magazines, calendars, and books. An accomplished lecturer and photo instructor, she recognizes the value of the story behind the landscape scene or wildlife action.

Trekking and photographing from the trails has made Bryce one of her favorite parks, whether viewing from the rim or beneath the hoodoos. "No matter where I am, the light dictates my position to my subject. Here, in Bryce Canyon, the light reveals the details within the forms and shapes that are the iconic, spectacular hoodoos. Once the light is cast, it is my turn to utilize my artistic skill and craft with the scene before me. It's always a challenge that I enjoy."
