Leroy Friel has enjoyed his forty years of teaching, retiring from Montana Tech of the University of Montana (Montana School of Mines) as a professor in General Engineering. Teaching was a great opportunity and career. Although he has been into several mountain ranges in southwest Montana, he concentrated on hiking to every lake in the Pioneer Mountains. Friel has been to several of the lakes ten to fifteen times. | |
